  1. what coolour are the buses?

What side do peopel stand on the escaltor (and do people someitmes stand on the wrong side like here?)

  2. OK, I was hoping for some slightly more imaginitive questions, but here we go…

The buses are big and ugly and yellow, but I suspect they actually come in a number of other colours too, I’ve not been paying that much attention to them to be honest.

And people stand on the wrong side of the escalator, all the time. Or maybe its just me.

    • It is earl morning brain is not fully working and I have two peopel shouting at me with very different requests and one is urgetn and one is not, but guess who is hsouting loudest and a completely stupid request from someone else….

I am tempted to ask how Strawberry Switchblade stuff is availble out there? do they have wagamama’s? and do they really bow when you walk into a shop?

      • Not seen any strawberry switchblade, but its got to be said that I’ve not looked yet…can do next time I’m in a cd shop I can navigate around rather than just wandering randomly and picking up things with artwork that looks like it might be interesting.

I’ve not seen a wagamama, but thats not to say there isnt one (or some). There are McDonalds everywhere, Wendys seem to have quite a hold too, theres CircleKs and a Starbucks on every corner (worse than in London!).

And yes, they do really bow when you walk into a shop, depending a little on how busy they are and how much attention they’re paying. I’ve no idea if its the right thing to do but I always bow back silently and get on with my shopping. And then always use a note way bigger than the cost should be so I don’t have to worry about how much the actual amount is. Standard johnny foreigner behaviour, I’m sure.

    Cute HR girlie

So tell us more about the cute HR girlie.
What does she look like, whats her music taste, phone number :-)

Oh and just out of curiosity, what is the standard food of the Japanese, is it noodles? If so what kind? Just wondering if japanese noodle bars over here are anthing similar to out there?

    Cheers Adelle

She ran away before I could that much detail, she seemed rather unsure of her English (which actually seemed quite good). Maybe I can generate some ficticious training requirements…Oh well, at least I spoke to someone who is not directly connected to my team.
