After a little hiatus due to holidays (of which more later), we’re back and can pick up where we left off, lets start the year with some Hallowe’en cakes. Swedes will take any excuse to have special cakes, and All Hallows Eve is no exception, though they celebrate All Saints Day more.

The new Sollentuna Centrum has now opened fully.

We went to Gamla Djurgården again.

The Biological Museum is an odd looking building about which we have been curious since we arrived in this city. The oddness continues on the inside as you pass various stuffed abominations and ascend into a landscape of Sweden inhabited by many examples of its local wildlife against a painted backdrop.

There was a fireshow at Street cars fest.

There was some serious InCar Entertainment at the Street Cars Fest autumn show.

There was another Street Cars Fest, there were a few more proper street cars than last time, but still the older ones were more interesting than the modern machines.

Around the back of Gröna Lund is a small area called Gamla Djurgården, the old area of the Djurgården, which was built to house the performers coming to the fairground.

We went to the Festival of Chocolate.

We found a Chaise Longue in a car park on Djurgården.
