A digital misfit

Another success for customer service – the guy in the Orange shop just suggested I should go to the O2 shop across the way where I might get a better deal. So much for being a loyal customer for the last ten years.

Can anyone suggest a network they don’t completely hate?

  1. I recently moved to T-Mobile, and like them. They do a good deal on internet service – £7.50 a month for basically unlimited use.

You might try phoning Orange up before you give up on them, though. I had a similar experience in the Vodafone shop, but when I phone up to cancel my provision, the customer service people on the phone were very keen to try to tempt me to stay. Too late, though – I’d already signed with T-Mobile.

      • Just popping back into this thread to say that I’ve received some vouchers in the post which I can use to ‘recommend’ T-Mobile to a friend, and if you use one and sign up, both you and I get £20 off our bill! So if you were seriously considering T-Mobile anyway, shall I stick one in the post to you?

  2. I’m ok until I have to interact with them any more than receiving a bill every month, seems they’ve lost the concept of being nice to customers somewhere along the way, or maybe they’ve decided that I’m below ARPU so not worth maintaining as a customer.
