  1. lego factory……

oh dear, that’s made me all nostalgic for my legoland space sets i got for xmas 1983(?) which included this and this iirc…

the past 23 years have been comparatively rather crap as far as christmas presents are concerned, i don’t think i could sleep knowing i got to build lego when i got up!!

actually, christmas just got crap once I was old enough to realise it was a total farce on everyone’s part. :o(

Sounds like Christmas wasn’t going to get much better than that…but its only a farce if you believe its going to be, the excitment is still there if you want it to be, go and look at the lights, listen to the carols, take part.

Not that I’m really one for all of that these days, but I handle it by hiding myself away, trying not to pollute other peoples good times.

        bah humbug!

it’s all commercialised pap these days!

and christmas food in the UK is gross!

there’s no point getting excited, that way i’m less likely to be disappointed by the whole letdown of the thing.

  2. on a different note: cobra killer…

hmmm… would have been better if the links worked… or the music wasn’t so painfully “avant garde” and the whole thing so… tenuously dramatic….

but yeah, it’s a bit shit really in terms of cohesion and elegance.
