Neil Hopcroft

A digital misfit

So much for feeling more organised this year – its my birthday this weekend and I haven’t gotten around to organising any kind of gathering, I would like you to help me celebrate. I was considering a museum visit during the day then onward to the remains of a board gaming session for the evening. Brooklands is quite tempting if anyone is interested in cars (I think they have planes too), or perhaps a visit to London during the day? But who is about and what would you prefer to do?

  1. It’s Spiky Neil’s birthday this weekend too- I think his plan is cocktails
etc round Oxford. We’re heading to that because it’s his first birthday since his Mum died so we though he could probably use having people around. If you fancy coming and want crash space there’s floorspace available in the flat (with air mattress & duvet).
On a related note, got me ‘The War On Terror- The Boardgame’ for Christmas, and I think you’d be one of the people who’d be interested in a session at some point (I should think of a date there, shouldn’t I?).

    • War on terror sounds pretty cool, I’d certainly be up for that sometime. Not sure cocktails is quite my thing, though, so perhaps another time?

      • Thought you might be thinking that way- yep, we’ll definitely have to find a time to get a group of like-minded people around for a good session of terroring… Have a good birthday in the meantime!

    • yay! Have fun! I love Amsterdam, it snowed when we went there, beautiful. Oh, and the club we went to (which was in a converted bank vault I think) flooded which was quite entertaining until attempting to walk home in soaking coats.

We should meet up sometime, you’re just down the road now…I think Devilish Presley are playing Winchester sometime next month – would you be interested?
