I was trying to look up some information about muzzle flashes on muskets, and encountered this site, which seems to systematically break all the rules of web design.

Anyone got any idea how long the muzzle flash from a Napoleonic era musket would last for?

    Hideous. I felt compelled to ask the web “master” some polite but pointed questions about hotlinking & c:\yadda\yadda pathnames. Let’s see if he bites…

      Sorry….I only passed it on ‘cos it was utterly hideous, more as an exercise in rubbernecking than actually intending any harm.

    I was taking some pictures of some in action and was somewhat surprised to have managed to catch two such flashes – my camera is just a cheapy point-and-shoot which isn’t good for setting long exposures, so I was guessing I just got lucky.
