Maybe I’ll find a small colony of them when spring comes and I get brave enough with the scissors. I’m not sure I’m looking forward to that.

I wish carol singers were better. I really like listening to good carols.. just not dire ones sung by tuneless chavs.

    I grew up in an Xtian school, so I’ve a programmed ability to tune out the nauseating religious sentiment and just enjoy the pretty noises. And sometimes they sing satisfyingly pagan things like ‘Holly and the Ivy’ which just remind you that the pagans were there a long time before the god-botherers showed up and nicked their festivals.
