A digital misfit

Oops. I’ve just been asked to drive more quietly in the car park…Presumably by someone who equates fast driving with dangerous driving.

    • That might be true (not that I’ve ever really had a car to do that properly with) – but that doesn’t make it dangerous, which was the implication of his request.

  1. So, just lie in wait a few hundred yards up the road, and when they’re in the car park, build up speed till you’re thundering along, then as you enter the car park, drop into neutral and coast. Watch them have a heart attack as you drive quietly past them at over 60mph.

    • I asked him what the speed limit was, but he didn’t know. Which kind of took the wind out of his sails. Though his initial request was that I drive more carefully…its a car-only concrete rat-run down to where the parking spaces are and there were clearly no cars in my way or likely to be in my way, if I lost control my car would come off far worse than the building. What he didn’t see was that I slowed down downstairs where there might have been people or other cars about.

(I’m still jealous that your car makes a better sound than mine)

  2. I think I’m losing the front section again – you get some great sounds straight out the manifold but the backpressure isn’t enough.
