Therapy?

During the week I found a copy of Therapy – the boardgame. This was, by looks of things, published back in the days when therapy was an aspirational passtime, rather than the necessary evil it has become today.

Still, doesn’t stop it being an interesting piece of social commentary, and worth the 2 pounds the charity was asking for it, if only for the “Tiny psychiatrist couches [that] make for unusual playing pieces.”

Anyone up for a gaming session at my house tomorrow? Probably kick off around 2:30, and probably playing something more sensible than Therapy.

  1. I’d love to but I’m going to the public Tai Chi practice session on Parker’s Piece.

Something else, you mentioned a while ago that you might have a spare 1GB RAM chip you’d be willing to sell me?

    • Dammit…oh well, we’ll have another sometime soon….

…and for the RAM, a friend of mine is in desperate need of some, having bought the wrong ones last time, fool that he is, so I’ve offered them to him, if I can swap for the wrong ones maybe they’re not the wrong ones for you? What do you need? I think his are 2700s, he’s probably here tomorrow so can figure out after that.

        • OK, i’ll find out what he’s actually got (all I know is that its wrong for his board) and try to swap that out with him…

          • Thanks a lot!
            *checks motherboard manual*
Other than DDR333, 184 pin, 2700, my board can take 2100 or 1600 (non-ECC DDR SDRAM). I guess 2700 would be ideal as the other chip has the same spec.

If it all fits, we could “exchange” at the Calling on Tuesday?

    • Yeah, I’m intrigued, though I suspect its the kind of game that polite society plays to pretend its still young. Needs three or more players….

  2. Probably more comfortable at your place, but your call. Theres Mikey, Matti, Chip, yourself and me. So far. There is a possibility of a show from the Cabbages, but I doubt it.

Games aren’t too much of a problem, I’ve got a big pile here and Chip is normally fairly well equipped on that front.

  3. Sounds like a good plan, shall we gather here first and then come over to yours about three-ish? We’ll bring some games and munchies, anything else? I’ll need your address…
