    • Depends who you are talking to. I heard an anti-GM spokesperson lump it together with modern GM soya without any acknolegement that its not the same – supersweet corn was created in the 1950s (or something), long before we had the kind of technology we’re using these days for what we now consider to be genetic modification. I was interested in what everyone thought of it.

  1. It was created by cross breeding. If that makes it gm, then just about everything else is too. Anti-gm spokespeople aren’t known for the accuracy of their arguments anyway. They have a political opposition to it, so say whatever they think will convert others – irresepective of whether these statements are true.
