No I don’t believe this is my England

And theres more:

– 20 Plain clothed officers.
– Block of flats, not a house.
– Poison gas at Kennington.
– 68% of Daily Mail readers think shooting is too good for ’em.

“We chained down the lion
And let the world sit in
We build up our armies so destruction can begin
But will we ever learn the enemy lies within?”

  1. If it’s worth fighting for not across the seas and not with the ‘sword’ but to proterct civil liberties nad build an inclusive society we gotta work for it, by building genuine relationships or we will end up going down a very scary road!

  2. so, 20 men at the tube station telling you to stop, on the day of some attempted bombings, 2 weeks after a set of very sucessful bombings, when you know that generally in the UK, you don’t find the general populance with guns.

And he ran. Its a damn shame, but why did he bloody run? Its just, argh!, and stuff. I’m sure if he knew what he was running into he wouldn’t have. *sigh*

I’ve been thinking how life is a little cheaper these last 2 weeks, when everyone gets the feeling of tube roulette every morning. This carrage, or this one – am i the only one who wonders that?

    • Thats the thing, he thought he knew what he was running into, but got more than he bargained for. If the rules change like that we end up with a society that is far less pleasant to live in, everyone gets tooled up and the shooting gets outside gangland and starts infiltrating the rest of our society.

      • Theres any number of possible reasons, thats one.

Thing is, running isn’t illegal. Running from the police isn’t illegal (as far as I’m aware), though it is stupid. Being stupid isn’t illegal.

Doing illegal things should take you into the judicial process, not the grave.
