A digital misfit

I’m just going to strim the jungle in the back garden, see if I can find the lawn that used to be underneath it. I feel so grown up.

Anyone got a rake I could borrow?

    • Indeed, thats shown it what for, its looking all shaggy and badly mown now, rather than just long. I did find some pretty blue flowers though, so I didn’t mow them.

  1. I haven’t mown mine for a year (no lawnmower), but I went away this week and came back to find Andy had brought over his strimmer and strimmed everything and it looks much less daunting now. I would have sworn there was no grass left, but it appears there actually were one or two blades hanging on for dear life. And the dandelions and dock leaves look so much more presentable when they’re only half an inch tall.

    • Depressingly I’ve got an agency inspection next week, during which I expect them to be looking for anything whatsoever to accuse me of not looking after the place, so they can throw me out and rent it to someone more respectable for more money.

    • Its not my garden – I’m just renting it. I don’t think they’ll cope well with some hippy moving in after being a traveller for over a year and digging up their back garden. They’ve got enough problems with me already.
