A digital misfit

“When three dealership visits, days of waiting and the cumbersome replacement of mechanical parts failed to fix the problem, he took the van out and drove it until the oven fired up again. Then he rushed to the mechanic to look for a software error

Anyone out there in the automotive space? Is it worth considering a change of direction? Seems like theres a lot of work to be done, and that things are getting worse at the moment, rather than better.

  1. Clearly the climate control on bikes has come a long way since last time I dabbled….but yes, there is a certain amount of sanity checking that can be done fairly easily, but the problem is how to deal with the consequences of a sensor failure.

  2. Dude, you need to get a modern car! Theres some crazy statistic like around 30% the cost of developing a car is in the software dev costs.
