A digital misfit

I despair over the efficiency of this country. Today I received the third copy of my cars registration document. Late last year, when I moved to Cambridge, I sent off the old one with a change of address. Somehow I timed it so it crossed in the post with a new style registration document with my parents address. Ok, I figured I’d fill this in and send it off again as I thought they’d forgotten to do the actual change of address. Then a couple of weeks later a new document turned up with the new address on. Good. All sorted.

Then a couple of weeks later another document turned up with the new address on. Fair enough, maybe it didn’t just cross in the post and I’ve now requested two changes of address. Now, another couple of weeks on I’ve got another one. Right now I’m trying to think of anything devious one could do with three copies of registrations for the same car. Thoughts anyone?

Last night DJDurje tried to kill me by playing Rock Lobster back to back with Kill the Poor, that really is more than someone of my advancing years can really deal with. Still, it was good to scheme with the delightful toripink (Zombies! Killer Robots! Rock and Roll!)

Now I have to write an agenda for tomorrows meeting and visio is crashing whenever I try to save the state machine it rescued after last time it crashed…

  1. A FOAF had the reverse of that happen – he scrapped an ancient Skoda then got a call from the police 6 months later complaining about it being dumped on the hard shoulder of the M1…

  2. I always forget that I can’t dance to Kill the poor, as its just too fast to bounce to, and I don’t know any other way to manage it.

Damnit! How did you know I was planning a photoshoot with almost that theme!

  3. i still reckon we can remake resident evil for 50 squids…

Shall check prices of tommy k and green face paint (and shall include the pens and paper from wh smiths for mapping story boards too)

Then, after we do that what else was it that we were going to do? It was something equally tedious like creating a facist regime or something… i forget *grin*
