A digital misfit

Marilyn Mansons version of ‘The KKK took my baby away’ is deeply disturbing. In a good way. I must check out some more of his music having largely avoided it all these years because of all the kids with too much facepaint.

Indeed, all the tracks on this Ramones tribute (we’re a happy family) are good, with the exception of U2, which probably annoys me as much because it is U2 as anything else.

  1. I went to see MM as a friend had a spare ticket recently…. and he was really good…

I always forget that I got into goth through Marilyn Manson. Very bizarre.

    • The crowd rather put me off him when I saw him as a side effect of seeing Metallica in Milton Keynes, I don’t really want to associate with some of those creatures…..that said, I saw some of his videos and they’re brilliant, completely lampooning everything America thinks is great about itself, no wonder they hate him so much over there, he knows how to hit the nerve of the great American politicians.

  2. Matti-dangerous is different from mobhanded-dangerous. Sure, they’re both destructive, but one in an amusing way (as long as you’re not on the recieving end) and the other in a depressing and wanton way.
