The I LUG is that rarest of underlings: the one whom you can trust to understand what you’re telling them and then rely on to get the job done. In any organisation, these are the people who actually do the work. (example: Florence Nightingale)

  1. I took a look at multimap but that kept crashing out, there seems to be road for a good few thousand miles from Vladivostok westward, skirting around the north of China. Looking down from the plane on the way back from the UK the whole area seemed barren, desolate. There were occasional settlements but no towns to speak of, not like flying over Europe where theres at least roads or farms or *something* within sight all the time.

Somewhere else you said: “get used to this feeling, because this is as good as it is ever going to get from now on”. I often find myself in similar situations (hence not having gotten involved with anyone for *years*), so I’m probably not in any position to expect to be taken seriously. It doesn’t have to be like that, you’re an interesting and fun person to be around, keep it that way, don’t wallow in feelings of things not going to plan, concentrate on things that go well.
