Hands up who knows about The 69 Eyes? Why didn’t you tell me? Have you got any more bands like them that you have also forgotten to tell me about? And, while I’m at it, how come these guys are in the top 10 in Finland? I mean they’re good, that normally disqualifies you from chart success, doesn’t it? Or maybe Finland should move a little higher up the list of places I’d like to live…

    Yeah, kinda like Tiamats ‘Skeleton Skeletron’ or all the good bit of Star Industry. This overblown theatric gothness, such a wide sound, is the reason I listened to this stuff in the first place. Love ’em. Will seek more albums.

      in fact the frnch bloke we met in helsinki was well into them.. i think he’s their producer in fact. and he gave us a demo cd….

      but they looked well cheesy so we’ve ignored them. but you like cheesy stuff, dont you? ;p

      dont know other bands like them thoiugh, as i dont reall know what they sound like or nought.

      Oh dear, I feel another phase coming on, following Slovenian Techno, Belgian EBM, its Finnish Cheese – I blame the Leningrad Cowboys.

      Oh, and Finns do indeed say “Thank you very many”, on quite a regular basis. Anyone got an explanation?
