    Hi neil hows things, hear you may be back in the uk for the usual goth fest, would b gd to meet up if we could, hear uve been having earthquakes? Who on earth is fugazi repeaTER? is he she any good, are there such things as jap goths? met anyt yet?

      Hey Dave….erm, this is a slightly awkward forum if you’re not a member, but I’m gonna reply here anyways in case you check back sometime…mail me when you’re back on email and we’ll pick it up properly there…

      Yeah, am back in the UK from 25th Oct to 7th Nov, hopefully will pop by Lincoln to meet up with Caroline, it’d be good if you’re about too? Dunno when exactly yet, but we can figure that out…

      Only a little earthquake, its just odd ‘cos we don’t really get them at home so all we hear is bad stuff about them with buildings falling over and bridges collapsing, but its not all like that.

      Fugazi are a straight edged hardcore punk band from Washington DC, they’re a major part of the Dischord/Minor Threat axis. Their most famous song is probably ‘Waiting room’, but chances are you won’t have heard that unless I played it at you.

      There are jgoths, but they’re all a bit weird (see this for an idea of what they’re like. Well, not all of them are like that. Pete and Marge introduced me to a real goth who is also Japanese, she doesn’t dress like these guys but she likes the music. Oh, and I’ll probably be going to CyberAgeVoodoo, an EBM night at Cyber in Ikebukero, on saturday, so hopefully I’ll get a chance to make an idiot of myself in front of some locals.

          Yes, Japan nice (track back through my journal for various insanities and cultural differences, and the odd brain flip-out). But I’m off to Finland next week, so we’ll have to see what thats like…
