      Not sure how it compares to the UK really, my lifestyle is so different that I just can’t compare (which was part of the point of coming here – my lifestyle is cheaper here, without car or friends all over the country). Though it seems about the same, just that some things are more expensive and others cheaper.

      Its great, the place is full of it. And I’m sure they’ve got a similar joke running the other way around…

      I still get flashbacks to the Belgian cack-on-a-stick though…

      Prezel sticks dipped in flavouring, with an undipped end you can hold on to without getting your fingers chocolatey. These ones are the deluxe ones which, as they say, are like a cake on a stick, albeit with considerably more icing and less cake than is usually to my taste. Similar to Pretz sticks, only they tend to be more sweet rather than savoury.
