A digital misfit

I’ve been getting into the spirit of it all today, meeting up with evilmandykins for a whirlwind tour of some of the available books and technology. Randomly bumped into godgirl on the way around.

We finished the evening off with a trip to Wagamama, where I managed to successfully reassure myself that I can actually eat some Japanese food.

  1. if i can eat japanese food you should be able to young man!
in an amusing note i ordered that colloquial japanese set as it comes as a pack both on cassette _and_ cd and book all for about 22 quid. ( then take 30% off) rar!
    want?

    • Hmmmm….dunno yet…that ‘learn in your car’ set is quite good, but I’ve
not done all the transferring onto CD yet…so I’ve not started listening
      properly.

Sorry about the anonymnity, but as I’m not an LJer, there’s not much else I can do!

As far as Japanese food goes, don’t forget that Teryaki is almost like barbeque sauce, just a whole lot yummier, and that tempura vegetables and prawns are delicious no matter what. And as long as you remember that sushi is vegegtables and rice, while sashimi is the raw fish most people are terrified of, you should be able to stay out of trouble.

    And I’m still REALLY jealous.

P.S. When are you next out and about and able to receive bon voyage pressies?
