      I should be about for a few weeks – apparently it takes two – three weeks to get the work permit, then a day to get the visa itself, then I get flights and stuff sorted.

    Fuck, I didn’t even know all this was going on! This is my first LJ check in a while, for reasons I’m sure you can appreciate. I hope it all goes well, and make sure you keep in touch. If you’re anywhere near Brum before you go, let me know, and we’ll have to meet up. If not, make sure you call me ‘fore ye go. I’m sorry to see you go mate, but it’s the sort of opportunity you can’t really turn down. I’m sure you’ll do well.

    And no coming back and forcing us all to listen to the latest bunch of noise mentalists from Tokyo. My ears will start bleeding.
