I wonder how difficult an EPOC port of an LJ client would be?

I know EPOC reasonably well… I was aiming for 7650 (Series 60) ‘cos thats the phone I use….gotten crude camera application running already and networking is reasonably easy. There aren’t any EPOC clients out there already, are there?

  But I’m not sure if there’s anything more than a dumb submission client in either of those examples.

    Dammit, another project… of course photo-mob-logging (or however you’d spell it) from cameraphones is the next obvious step and trivial to add. Erk, looks like I need to sign up to the dev lists, doesn’t it?

      I guess. Though I suspect (in a careless Sunday afternon I-don’t-have-to-code-it way) that a submission-only client (even with photos) wouldn’t take more than a day or two. Collect photo, collect text, build XML, post it….

      Hmmm….its probably quicker to write my own than mess around trying to get a Java version running. It’ll almost certainly be more satisfying and more useful. If I ever get around to doing it….which is another problem of course.
