Gävle
Gävle is a small port city on the east coast of Sweden, notable for its iron exports (from areas like Högbo). Now, though, there is an overwhelming smell of coffee roasting pervading the town.
Rosendals slott gardens
The gardens of Rosendals Slott – “this is a corner of a larger field”.
Vaxholm again
We took another visit to Vaxholm via Bogesunds Slott.
Harley Davidson Locomotive
Outside the Harley Davidson office near Stockholm is a locomotive.
Ekerö
Beyond Drottningholm is the town of Ekerö, near the bridge onto the island of the same name.
Nynäshamn
Nynäshamn is a small town on the end of the Pendletåg from central Stockholm. Meaning literally “New Nose Harbour” it is the landing point for ferries across the Baltic to Poland and Gotland.
Väster haninge
Väster haninge (Swedish) is a small town at the centre of its commun, served by the Pendletåg from Stockholm central.
Nacka Strand again
I went for another explore around Nacka Strand. Noticing this time that it must have been an old car works, with a similar feeling to the old Mini factory in Oxford.
Skeppsholmen in the fog
We went to the architecture museum on Skeppsholmen, the boat was making a good subject for photographers.
