We went to Skansen for midsummer again this year.

Gävle is a small port city on the east coast of Sweden, notable for its iron exports (from areas like Högbo). Now, though, there is an overwhelming smell of coffee roasting pervading the town.

We took a final walk around Högbo bruk.

Theres something wonderful about waking up in a place with a Bessemer converter at the bottom of the garden.

In the woods beyond Högbo bruk church I found something quite peculiar.

Over the road for Högbo bruk is a small country church.
