  1. The GRAPE architecture has been in development for quite a long time now, and they are fantastic if you are doing caluclations that have an inverse square law in them, and pretty much useless for anything else.

    Quite mad, that to simulate galaxies colliding you are best off designing a computer architecture designed to collide galaxies.

    (That last scentence felt all Darth-Vadery)
