A digital misfit

At last, the killer application for mobile phones…

“Hey, this is your Escape-A-Date call. If you’re looking for an excuse, I got it. Just repeat after me, and you’ll be on your way! ‘Not again! Why does that always happen to you? … All right, I’ll be right there.’ Now tell ’em that your roommate got locked out, and you have to go let them in. Good luck!”

      Nooper

has been around in Japan as a free service for a few years.

      http://www.nooper.com

You can schedule an email to arrive at your phone with your own memo at a convenient time. eg. email from the office. “Server needs your urgent attention.” “Meeting moved forward to this evening.”

There are other handy services as well – all free. But now that they were bought out by Value-click, I doubt it is going to stay free for long.

BTW the guy who invented Nooper is a crazy German friend and a photographer.. if you like interesting photography – mainly nudes. http://www.juergenspecht.com
