A digital misfit

    • Number withheld, and it took all day to get that many, the first two were an agent leaving a message, which I didn’t answer since I’ve just started at a new job…then they came at reasonably regular intervals stopping at going-home-time. Either he’s bored or thinks he has a *really* exciting opportunity for me.

      • *grins*

I had visions of you fleeing some psycho wannabe girlfriend or suchlike.

I have my phone set up at home so that we don’t accept calls from withheld numbers. It’s a bother if I want to call home from work, as there’s no way to un-withhold the number IYSWIM, so I have to use my mobile or call Sue’s mobile from my desk, BUT it stops pretty much all spam calls and abusive calls.

        • I don’t have psycho wannabe girlfriends these days…and I don’t want to start again anytime soon.

I rarely answer non-identified numbers, though sometimes I drop my guard, either ‘cos I’m feeling talkative or because I’m expecting a call from someone. I shouldn’t – more of them make me angry than happy.

    • Joy, wouldn’t be so bad if it was the attentions of a young lady, its a job agency who are now thinking I’ve avoiding them. Which I suppose I might be.
