1. What’s on your bedside table?
I don’t really have one, but I’ve got a light next to my bed, and a copy of ‘The power of Babel’ that I am currently reading.
2. What’s the geekiest part of your music collection?
Does ‘current directions in computer music research’ count? How about the printer symphonies? (I’ve got three, the best is performed on an Epson wide carriage dot matrix, in glorious stereo). I’m still on the lookout for that photocopier album.
3. What do you eat when you raid the fridge at night?
Yogurt.
4. What is your secret guaranteed weeping film?
I don’t really have one.
5. If you could have plastic surgery, what would you have done?
Nothing – I don’t think plastic surgery solves problems, it externalises the problem, provides a focus for it, then removes that focus. But the problem is still there. So you probably end up in a worse state after.
6. Do you have a completely irrational fear?
Yes, several, probably the worst is a fear of intimacy.
7. What is the little physical habit that gives away your insecure moments?
Coughing.
8. Do you ever have to beg?
Not yet – I hope I never have to.
9. Do you have too many love interests?
No. If anything not enough.
10. Do you know anyone famous?
I met Screaming Lord Sutch. And Dr from Dr & the Medics. But I wouldn’t say I know them.
11. Describe your bed.
Western style. With draws underneath.
12. Spontaneous or plan?
A bit of both, normally the worst bits of both.
13. Who should play you in a movie about your life?
I’d like to think Richard E Grant, but I’m probably not interesting enough for him to consider it.
14. Do you know how to play poker?
Yes, but I’m still not very good at it.
15. What do you carry with you at all times?
Some kind of digital camera, normally three or four of them.
16. How do you drive?
Fast.
17. What do you miss most about being little?
I don’t really miss much of it, I wasn’t paying attention at the time.
18. Are you happy with your given name?
Kind of, I’ve not managed to come up with a better one so its gonna have to do.

No, I don’t think so.

No, I don’t think so.

Not really, no.
