Saltsjöbaden again
After Fisksätra we went on to Saltsjöbaden
Fisksätra
We took the train toward Saltsjöbaden, but got off at Fisksätra (Swedish). This looked, on the map, as if it might be an interesting place – unfortunately it isn’t as welcoming as we had hoped. Still the island was not so bad as the concrete centre on the other side of the railway.
Path to Vinterviken
On our way to the Synth picnic we found a couple of interesting sights.

Riddarholmen
To the west of Gamla Stan is the palace island of Riddarholmen.
Ytterjärna kyrka
Norrviken
To the north of Edsberg Slott, and Edsviken lake is the lake of Norrviken.
Hammerby Sluss
Hammerby Sluss connects Hammerby Sjö and Lake Mälaren.
Hammerby Sjö
Heading south from Södermalm Öst, beyond the transport museum, is Hammerby Sjö, a small channel from the Baltic through to Hammerby Sluss, a lock connecting the sea and Lake Mälaren.
