Between Gamla Stan and Djurgården is the royal island of Skeppsholmen, with a number of museums and beautiful views across the water to other parts of the city.

After we finished with the Vikings we stayed in the city of Östersund.

I took a walk along the shore of Kungsholmen, with views across the lake to Långholmen and Södermalm.

On the way home from Långholmen we stopped by on Gamla Stan again.

On our way back from Långholmen we passed through Hornstull.
