As well as the runestone by the station there is one in Torekällbergets museum.

In a little park outside Södertalje station is another runestone, this one larger than most of the others I have seen, so I didn’t recognise it at first. “Holmfastr (and) Hróðelfr had the runes carved in memory of … … Ingifastr, their sons. They were in the east(?). And Œpir carved.”

Just along the road from Låssa church there is a rune stone. This isn’t as well restored as some of the others I have seen.

While exploring Akalla Park I found another rune stone. It is now standing by the junction between three paths near the grave grounds. “… had the stone raised … Rysja(?), his brother. He … east. Balli …”

Looking back: this was the first of many runestones I found, it became a bit of a treasure hunt for me to find and photograph them. There are a number of Rune Stones around the Stockholm area – one thing that A wants to do while she is here is to find some of them. This one […]
