There’s quite a collection of light switches, some of which are still in use.

Now it seems weird to look back at some of the control panels from the past, with their space dedicated to individual dials and controls – these days we’d just have a few computer screens able to show different views as needed.

We went to a steam day at the Cambridge Museum of Technology, where they had a number of steam engines running.
