Further north west on the island of Ekerö is the village of Munsö, with a round church.

Asknäs is a small village on the island of Ekerö.

Sorunda is a small village not far from Nynäshamn.

Nynäshamn is a small town on the end of the Pendletåg from central Stockholm. Meaning literally “New Nose Harbour” it is the landing point for ferries across the Baltic to Poland and Gotland.

I stopped at Edssjön before, on my way back from Runsa, but there was a wedding going on so I didn’t get a chance to explore. Not that there is a lot to see there.

I went back to Uppsala.

In the centre of Sigtuna are the ruins of a medieval abbey.
