There’s something magical about print machinery that we have lost in recent years.

I’m really pleased with this picture of oil cans.

There’s quite a collection of light switches, some of which are still in use.

Now it seems weird to look back at some of the control panels from the past, with their space dedicated to individual dials and controls – these days we’d just have a few computer screens able to show different views as needed.

We went to a steam day at the Cambridge Museum of Technology, where they had a number of steam engines running.

On our way out at the end of the day, we saw the costumes from the play stacked ready to be put away for another year.

At the end of the day as everyone was packing up, there was a little girl playing with the flags on the village green.

The old inn was serving flagons of cordial and had nine mens morris boards drawn on the tables with chalk.

As ever, the alchemist had a wonderful selection of bizarre.
